India’s national flag carrier, Air India (AI) is all set to roll out direct flights between Toronto and New Delhi from October 31st. Harry J Francis, Manager in Canada, Air India said “The distance between Toronto and New Delhi would be covered by Air India’s Boeing 777-300 aircraft in 14 hours”. The return flight to Toronto from New Delhi will depart Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi at 1.30 am (local time) and would reach Toronto at 7.30 am (local time).
The Air India passengers, who would like to go to Amritsar from New Delhi, would be subjected to immigration checks at the Amritsar International Airport and not at Delhi Airport.
Air India that currently serves 11 domestic destinations and 18 international destinations in 11 countries across Asia, Europe and North America offers flat bed seats in business class and comfortable seats in economic class for travellers. Further, the passengers booking online can avail 10% off on basic fares for all international sectors from India on Air India’s network. Further, those traveling on Full Executive Class Fare can now take accompanying Spouse/Child/Parents free of cost in the same class and flight while traveling on selected domestic sectors of Air India. This scheme will be valid for travel up to December 31st.
