The sixth edition of Kerala Travel Mart 2010 (KTM) that is set to kick start from September 23-26 at Bolgatty Palace in Kochi has witnessed registration of more than 1,500 participants from India and abroad.

The sixth edition of Kerala Travel Mart 2010 (KTM) that is set to kick start from September 23-26 at Bolgatty Palace in Kochi has witnessed registration of more than 1,500 participants from India and abroad. The Mart to be formally inaugurated on September 23rd will hold exclusive interactive sessions for the buyers and sellers besides conducting seminars, pre/post mart FAM (Familiarization) tours and cultural evenings. It will also feature 370 stalls, 110 halls and mooring facility for 16 houseboats and showcase the tourism products and services of the state.
International buyers from countries like Poland, Mexico, South Africa, Japan, China, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, the UK, US, Germany, France and those from countries in South Asia have registered as delegates. More than 1,000 buyers from other states of India are also expected to participate in this popular travel mart.
KTM supported by Kerala Tourism and organized by the tourism business fraternity will bring all the international, domestic buyers and entrepreneurs under one roof. The only tourism event in the subcontinent is aimed at preparing the stakeholders for a headstart as Kerala is facing tough competition from other states such as Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Goa and Rajasthan.
