MPSTDC, India To Set Up Over 268 Wayside Amenities On Highways

The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (MPSTDC) in an attempt to benefit all the visitors and the local people residing in the state has decided to set up 268 wayside amenities.
Hari Ranjan Rao, managing director, MPSTDC said, “The Union Ministry of Tourism is very impressed with our project that involves developing 268 wayside amenities on national, state and other highways. In the first phase, we aim to develop 25-30 such projects and are open to weigh all options.”
Madhya Pradesh, one of the top 5 destinations of India has also introduced bed and breakfast (B&B) scheme to provide quality accommodation for domestic and international travelers. The B&B scheme enables the foreign travelers to stay with Indian families and relish the traditional cuisine at affordable prices.
