Hong Kong-based Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts will set up a new hotel in Lhasa, Tibet in 2012. Shangri-La Lhasa located on Lingkor Road, is just 1.5 km away from the Potala Palace, a must-visit attraction for every first- timer to Lhasa. The 350-rooms hotel will have features like an all-day dining restaurant, a Chinese restaurant, a bar , a lobby lounge, indoor swimming pool , health club, a 1,700-sq metre grand ballroom and many others. The hotel will also have a full service clinic with medical staff to attend to guests.
