In an attempt to increase its offerings in the Indian market, Asia’s leading airline, Singapore Airlines has launched a new initiative called ‘Enhanced Cabin Experience’ where the carrier has undertaken a comprehensive product upgrade on 4 Indian routes- Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai.
The products that were upgraded included new cabin offerings, improvements in Economy Class, as well as introduction of new KrisWorld-the airlines in-flight entertainment system. Singapore Airlines will also introduce the 'Enhanced Cabin Experience' on Kolkata-Singapore route in October this year.
Chai Woo Foo, General Manager – India, Singapore Airlines, said, “The 'Enhanced Cabin Experience' initiative has been the most comprehensive product upgrade undertaken by Singapore Airlines on select sectors. Singapore Airlines has invested a significant amount in the up gradation of products on five Indian routes which showcases the market's growth potential and Singapore Airlines commitment to the market.”
The airline currently flies to 6 Indian destinations that include New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata and Ahmedabad with 48 weekly flights to Singapore.
