DLG Ranch, a part of US-based Digital Liberty Group (DLG) is all set to launch Agri Tourism operations in Mysore. It promises to be a perfect getaway for the urban inhabitants who wish to seek glimpses of rural life. The farm spreading across 100 crores is located at Hediyala, Nanjangud Taluk in Mysore district and will start operating within a span of 6 months. The construction of ranch will be completed by June and an estimated amount of Rs.7 crore will be spent.
 Dr C P Gopakumar, Managing Director, DLG Farms Pvt Ltd mentioned that DLG Ranch has been positioned as an ‘Indian Farm Experience’ combining rural life with organic farming techniques and rearing livestock, which will be a part of the guest’s experience on the ranch.   The tourist friendly ranches will consist of 8 suites, 2 guest houses and an apartment which can accommodate 40-50 additional lodging units.

“The accommodation and services offered on the ranch will be modest wherein guests can experience typical Indian village life, complete with integrated organic farming techniques and livestock system, effectively making the ranch a self sustained unit for all guests,” added Gopakumar.
