Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) in order to attract visitors from Japan has now launched the Japanese version of its consumer website www.visitabudhabi.ae. The Japanese visitors can now view the website and gather vital information about hotels, tourist places, Abu Dhabi airports, service providers such as taxi companies and agencies for renting vehicles.
"There is obvious increasing demand from the Japanese market for information about Abu Dhabi as a tourism destination and we want these visitors to be able to view the content in their own language so they feel more at home and we have a greater chance of imparting our case," said Khalid Al Hashemi, ADTA Director of Administration.
The website’s sixth language version came soon after UAE-based Etihad Airlines introduced direct non-stop flights to Abu Dhabi from Nagoya, the third largest Japanese city, and its capital Tokyo
