India’s Aamod brand that operates under Tarangan Leisure is all set to create a national chain of high quality boutique resorts in Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Uttarakhand. Aamod made its foray recently by unveiling ‘Aamod’ at Shoghi in Himachal Pradesh. The resort has 16 cottages, a multi-cuisine restaurant, a spa and a host of adventure activities to entertain guests.
“The Aamod brand was born out of a desire to create boutique holiday destinations across India. The brand focuses on creating unique holidays, where guests can experience nature at close quarters, while being in complete harmony with the local environment. It also promises quality and consistency delivered by a professional and a highly motivated management team,” Gaurav Jain, Managing director, Tarangan Leisure said.
The second and third properties of the group are in Kangra and Dalhousie, Himachal Pradesh which are slated to be functional by September. The fourth property on the other hand is planned in Pench, Madhya Pradesh and expected to open in 2011. By 2015, the company plans to have a strong presence in Indian states like Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Uttarakhand.
