According to the data collected from Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Thailand received a total of 77,393 Indian travellers during the first five months of this year.

According to the data collected from Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Thailand received a total of 77,393 Indian travellers during the first five months of this year. 
As per the figures, the top 5 visitor-generating markets during January to May this year were: Malaysia (770804 visitors), China (428709 visitors), Japan (419980 visitors), United Kingdom (352586 visitors) and South Korea (335648 visitors).
Chattan Kunjara Na Ayudhya, Director, Tourism Authority of Thailand New Delhi office said, “We are happy to record a growth in visitor arrivals from all the international markets. As per the Indian market, apart from Free Visa Entry, various other strategies like intense promotions on B2B level have helped Thailand establish itself as a popular and preferred destination among Indian travellers.”
