Asia’s only African-themed safari resort, the Leofoo Resort Guanshi, has opened in Hsinchu County in North West Taiwan. The resort is a home to rare species and boasts animals such the eland Oryx, antelope, rhinoceros, giraffes, zebra, ibis flamingos, ring-tailed foxes, black and white collar fox monkeys, ostriches and others.
The eco-friendly resort is one of the few green hotels in Taiwan, and has incorporated the sustainable environment into its design. It has spacious 164 rooms with amenities like refrigerators, LCD TVs with satellite, as well as wired and wireless internet connections. The F&B services include the Phoenix restaurant and ‘40-head Cape of Good Hope Deli’ eatery which provides light snacks and appetizers.
