Bengaluru-based Vivek Hotels Pvt Ltd plans to open brand new hotels in Bengaluru, Hampi, Badami and other beach locations of the state, in a bid to expand its footprints in Karnataka.
Currently, Vivek Hotels runs 2 hotels in Karnataka: Kings Kourt Hotel in Mysore and Kings Sanctuary Resort in Nagarahole. To give a facelift to these hotels, the company will be adding 20 rooms (existing 55 rooms) to Kings Kourt Hotel by September 2011 and add 15 luxury tents, log huts (existing 24 cottages) to The Kings Sanctuary Resort by November 2010.
Vyshak Anand, Director, Vivek Hotels said, “There are great tourist locations in Karnataka which remains unexplored as they lack decent accommodation. We aim to bridge this gap and offer best of services and standards to our guests. We aim to showcase Karnataka’s tourism destinations worldwide. Apart from Hampi, Badami and Bengaluru, we want to tap the unexplored beach locations in the state.”
