Rajasthan Tourism is all set to scale great heights as Union government has sanctioned close to Rs 100 crore to develop new destinations of the state.
The projects getting a go ahead under the centrally enforced scheme include; Jodhpur-Jaisalmer-Barmer-Bikaner for mega dessert tourism circuit, which gets a bounty of Rs 50 crore, Pali- Jalore- Sirohi sector which get Rs 8 crore for developing Goadvad tourism circuit, Daang tourism circuit (Bharatpur, Karauli and Sawai Madhopur), Virat Nagar and Alwar district circuit too gets Rs 8 crore for development.
The Union government has sanctioned Rs 8 crore to develop Kumbhal Garh-Tat Garh-Rawali- Ranakpur forest area into eco-tourism spots.
Furthermore, the Union tourism ministry has approved funds worth Rs 4.8 crore to revamp the old state assembly (now town hall) and help Jaipur to become world-class.
