UAE: Dubai’s low cost airline Flydubai has expanded its airline services by beginning its operations in India with flights to Lucknow on July 13. This will be closely followed by Coimbatore in the south on July 14.  Ghaith Al Ghaith, CEO of Flydubai said:” We are delighted to be able to announce our three Indian destinations today. India is a very important market and we are looking forward to a long and successful future, serving the needs of customers wishing to travel between India and the UAE.”

The Flydubai’s model is simple and the ticket price includes all taxes and one piece of hand baggage, weighing up to 10 kg, per passenger. Flydubai was started by the Government of Dubai in March 2008 and operates from a modernized and enhanced terminal 2 on the north side of Dubai International Airport.

Flydubai is dedicated to make the travel between Lucknow, Coimbatore, Chandigarh and the UAE hassle free and less stressful with minimum cost. 

He said that this airline service will provide an additional option for Indian residents to move to UAE for business and leisure. He added that there is so much demand for low cost travel between India and the UAE that there will be sufficient customers for all the carriers.

FZ450 will depart for Dubai from Lucknow on July 14 and will operate four times per week. Prices start from Rs.4700, including all taxes and the thrice-weekly Coimbatore service, FZ414, will take off for Dubai on July 15. Prices start from Rs.4700 from Coimbatore.

FZ432 will become the first international flight to depart from Chandigarh airport when it takes off on July 23. Prices of air tickets from Chandigarh start from Rs.3700.
