Indore city has now got itself a brand new hotel from global hospitality chain, Carlson Hotels Worldwide. The luxurious Radisson Hotel in Indore, Madhya Pradesh which is the 30th property of the Carlson group has 201 rooms.
The Radisson Hotel Indore is one of 4 projects Carlson is partnering on with the real estate devoper Bestech group in India. Carlson currently manages the Radisson Suites Gurgaon and Park Plaza Noida and will also manage the Radisson Hotel Nagpur, which is slated to be ready by the first half of 2011.
"This hotel opening marks Carlson's accelerated growth in India as part of our Ambition 2015 global growth strategy to expand our portfolio by at least 50 per cent by 2015 to more than 1,500 hotels in operation," Carlson Hotels (South Asia) Executive Vice-President KB Kachru said.
The company had previously announced its plans to add 50 properties in India by the end of 2012 across 4 brands-Radisson Hotels & Resorts, Country Inns & Suites, Park Plaza Hotels & Resorts and Park Inn. Carlson Hotel Worldwide currently has more than 120 hotels in operation and under development and close to 22,000 rooms in 14 countries.
