Singapore, the top tourism destination among international visitors has been witnessing a major tourist influx in the past recent years. According to Singapore Tourism Board, visitor arrivals to Singapore registered 17.3% growth to reach 928,000 in March 2010, the fourth consecutive month of record visitor arrivals and in the month of April , it registered 20.4 percent growth on-year to reach 938,000 , the highest ever recorded in the month of April.
The remarkable year-on-year growth can be attributed to a gradually improving economic climate, leading to an improvement in travel sentiment to Singapore.
