Delhi-based low-cost carrier SpiceJet will commence its international flights to the capital cities of Bangladesh (Dhaka), Nepal (Kathmandu) and Maldives (Male) thus expanding its network in the coming months.
From August, the airline will fly to Dhaka from Kolkata. However, Kathmandu and Male will be connected from Delhi and Mumbai respectively.
SpiceJet that currently operates 137 daily flights connecting about 19 Indian destinations will be using the same fleet to ply on the international routes. SpiceJet that has 21 aircrafts will increase its fleet size to 25 with 4 new aircraft deliveries scheduled this year.
