Indian railways, the official partner of Commonwealth Games (CWG) will soon start a special exhibition train that is likely to be flagged-off from Delhi, the national capital by the end of this month.
The train’s primary objective being to promote the Commonwealth games to be held from October 3-14 in New Delhi will be painted with the CWG logo along with that of Indian Railways. Besides, it will also carry detailed exhibits of Commonwealth Games and use of Information Technology in Railways will be a special attraction for the people.
The train will travel to each state of India and have stoppages at selected stations across 16 zones in the country. “We will be coming up with a detailed schedule of train movement and its timings so that people can visit and see the exhibition in it,” an official of Indian Railways added.
