JetBlue Airways has signed an agreement with the South African Airways (SAA) that will benefit both the parties. According to the new deal, the fliers will be able to avail flights on both airlines if they buy a single ticket. The offer has been effective from May 12th and the customers of Jet blue airways will be able to fly to around 40 international destinations covered by the South African Airways. Similarly, the customers of the South African Airways will be able to fly to the destinations of JetBlue airways in South America, Caribbean and other provinces of the USA.
JetBlue Airways Corp had earlier signed similar deals with American Airlines and also with Irish carrier Aer Lingus. Such deals allow the airlines to offer more destinations to their passengers without incurring additional expenses. The fliers who purchase these itineraries will use a single ticket and check their luggage at the final destination. They would get boarding passes for both carriers flights in South Africa or The USA.
