Turkish tourism in a bid to create more awareness about destination and its tourism products in Indian market will launch marketing campaigns, this year. As part of its initiative, Turkish Tourism has already launched its outdoor campaigns with ads on billboards and hoarding across Delhi and Mumbai. Targeting both the business and consumer clients in the market, the campaigns will be launched through print and electronic media under the tagline ‘Turkey is ready’.
N Sevgi Boz, Culture and Tourism Counsellor of Turkey in India said, “We are also looking at ‘co-advertisements’ with leading players in the travel trade in the coming months. We couldn’t do it last year because of some budget constraints.”
The Turkish Culture and Tourism office in India also has plans to organize several Turkish expositions, festivals in various Indian cities. While Istanbul, being the capital city of Turkey, is quite popular among Indian travellers, Turkish Tourism wants Indian travellers to discover 1 or more Turkish destinations in their travel journey.
