The Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) will soon be introducing an air package tour to the temple town of Tirupati in association with Jet Airways. "The APTDC would sign the agreement with Jet in another 15 days for the air package tour," said Jayesh Ranjan, MD of APTDC.
The APTDC will receive guests at Tirupati Airport and provide accommodation as well as arrange a fast track darshan. The package can be booked either on APTDC or Jet Airways website. However, the price of the package is still not yet finalized.
The Corporation that has a total of 12 centres – 6 in Hyderabad and 6 outside the state will also be launching information and booking centres in Bhubaneswar and Ahmedabad very soon. The conducted and Package tours that APTDC offers besides being hassle-free are reasonable priced to benefit travelers.
Meanwhile, Union Minister for Tourism and Housing, Kum. Selja recently unveiled 24x7 tourist information cum reservation centre at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport which is expected to give a major fillip to tourism in Andhra Pradesh. The Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC), which runs the centre at the airport, is chalking out plans to open similar information cum reservation centres at Visakhapatnam and Tirupati airports in the near future.
