Just saying 'Char Dham', is enough to witness the
religious fervor and devotion of any Hindu in India. Chardham is the
term given to the four religious sites situated in the state of
Uttarakhand. Located amidst snow capped mountains of Himalayas, these
venerated places are Gangotri, Yamunotri, Badrinath and Kedarnath. Known
as the most important Hindu pilgrimage circuit in the country, these are
the abode of shrines, dedicated to different Hindu deities. Gangotri and
Yamunotri are the source of holy rivers Ganga and Yamuna, while
Badrinath is a Vaishnavite site and Kedarnath, a Shaivaite site.
According to religious beliefs, a visit to Chardham is enough to attain
moksha. As a result, every year thousands of pilgrims flock these sites,
in order to take a dip into the ocean of divinity and to seek the
blessings of the Lord. We have designed some Chardham/Char Dham packages
for you so that you can explore these holy places.
