While on a trip to Madhya Pradesh, shopping in Jabalpur has its own
charm. The lively streets and narrow alleys of the city are dotted with
various shops that present a heady collage of items like stuffed toys,
jute crafts, silverware, brassware, saris and dress materials featuring
delicate zardozi needlework. Government emporia, named Mriganayani,
display handicrafts from the various Indian states and are the best
places to shop here. Nevertheless, the most preferred souvenir amongst
tourists is the miniature stone-carved replicas of the erotic sculptures
