Jaipur Elephant Festival

Duration: 14 Nights/15 Days

Day 01: Arrival at Delhi

Upon your arrival at Delhi International airport, our representative will be there to welcome you. From there, you will be escorted to the hotel for a check in. You will do a little bit of sightseeing later in the day. At night, you will retire to your hotel rooms.

Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing

In the morning, you will start with a sightseeing tour of the city. The itinerary will include a guided tour of India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan (President house), Parliament Building, Qutub Minar, Lal Quila (Red Fort) and Humayun’s Tomb. After the visit, you will return to the hotel for night stay.

Day 03: Delhi - Jaipur

In the morning, after having breakfast, you will drive down to Jaipur. Upon Arrival in Jaipur, you will check into the hotel. In the afternoon, you will undertake a sightseeing tour of the Pink City with Birla Temple and the magnificent Jaigarh fort. The visit will be followed by a return to the hotel for the night.

Day 04: Jaipur Sightseeing

The whole day, you will be busy sightseeing the city. The tour of Jaipur will include Amber Fort (along with an elephant ride), City Palace, Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace), Jantar Mantar (an astronomical observatory), and the local bazaar. In the evening, you will get back at the hotel and spend the night in your hotel rooms.

Day 05: Jaipur - Bikaner

The breakfast in morning will be followed by the trip to Bikaner. On the way, you will explore Fatehpur, known for its havelies, paintings & frescos. On your arrival in Bikaner, you will check into the hotels. Afternoon will be reserved for a visit to the fascinating Junagarh Fort. In the night, you will retire to your hotel rooms.

Day 06: Bikaner - Khimsar

In the morning, you will have your breakfast and leave for Khimsar. After arriving, you will check into Khimsar fort hotel, ranking high amongst the premier heritage hotels of India. If lucky, you may also spot black buck & blue bull around Khimsar. The overnight stay will be at the fort hotel.

Day 07: Khimsar - Jodhpur

After breakfast at the fort, you will proceed to Jodhpur. On the way, there will be a stop over at Ossian for exploring the famous Jain temples. After arriving in Jodhpur, you will check into the hotel. After you freshen up, you will continue with a visit of the Sun City. The itinerary for the visit will include the magnificent Mehrangarh fort, with its several palaces and courtyards and the Jaswant Thada, containing the royal cenotaphs. After the visit, you will return back to the hotel for the night.

Day 08: Jodhpur - Kumbhalgarh

After having breakfast in Jodhpur, you will leave for Kumbhalgarh. It is the second most important citadel in the Mewar region, after Chittorgarh. En-route, you will be visiting Ranakpur Jain temple. After arriving, you will check into the Kumbhalgarh fort, providing you with a commanding view of the surroundings. The atmosphere of the hotel will be perfect for spending the night.

Day 09: Kumbhalgarh - Udaipur

After breakfast, you will explore Kumbhalgarh Fort. The fort has many magnificent palaces and a number of temples. Later, you will drive down to Udaipur, also known as the Venice of the east. It is also called the city of lakes. Upon arrival, you will check into the hotel. Afternoon will be free for exploring the city a little. The night stay will be at the hotel.

Day 10: Udaipur Sightseeing

Morning will start with a sightseeing tour of the city. You will be visiting Jagdish Temple, Gangaur Ghat (famous for folk dance and music performances), Nagda (Jain temple of Adbudji), Eklingji Shiva Temple (famous for its 108 temples complex) and Sahelion ki Bari (garden of the maidens). In the afternoon, you will explore City Palace, and enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola. Evening will be for resting at the hotel, concluding with a good night’s sleep.

Day 11: Udaipur - Kota

An early morning breakfast will be followed by a drive to Kota. After arriving, you will check into the hotel. In the afternoon, you will take a tour of Kota, visiting Old Palace along with Madho Singh Rao Museum. The museum has an excellent collection of Rajput miniature paintings of the Kota School, exquisite sculptures, frescoes and armory. In the late evening, you will return back to the hotel and rest for the night.

Day 12: Kota - Ranthambore

After breakfast, you will proceed to Ranthambore. Upon arrival, you will check into the hotel. Rocky plains, flat hilltops, gentle slopes and precipitous cliffs characterize this wildlife sanctuary. Ranthambore is virtually an island rich in flora and fauna, in an ocean of villages, farmland and over graced arid land. In the evening, a jeep safari of the jungle will be awaiting you. You will retire to your hotel rooms for the night.

Day 13: Ranthambore Sightseeing

The morning will be occupied with a jeep safari in the National Park. In the afternoon, you will relax and rest a little bit. In the evening, you will once again leave for enjoying the rich wildlife. Overnight stay will be at the hotel itself.

Day 14: Ranthambore - Agra

After breakfast, you will drive down to Agra. On the way, you will be visiting the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri, with its elaborate palaces, formal courtyards, reflecting pools, harems, tombs and a great mosque. After reaching Agra, you will be checking into the hotel for staying overnight.

Day 15: Agra - Delhi

After having breakfast, you will be visiting the world famous monument of love, Taj Mahal. Also included in your visit will be Agra Fort (the fascinating monument of red sandstone) & Sikandra (the tomb of Akbar, having red sandstone minarets on its four corners with stunning inlay work of marble). Thereafter, you will directly be taken to Delhi. Upon your arrival in Delhi, you will freshen up a bit and have dinner. Then, you will be escorted to the international airport, where you will catch a flight to your destination.
