Day 01: Arrival at Madurai
Upon arrival at Madurai Airport, our local representative will assist
and transfer you to hotel. Madurai is one of the important pilgrimage
centers for the Hindus. Later, a local tour of Madurai follows. It
covers Sri Meenakshi sundareshwara temple, art museum, puthu Mandapam,
Raya gopuram etc. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Madurai - Rameshwaram
After morning breakfast you will be driven to Rameshwaram. Upon arrival
at Rameshwaram, check in at hotel and later proceed for a local tour of
the town. Rameshwaram is a sacred place for Hindus. According to
legends, it is the place where Lord Rama worshipped Lord Shiva to
absolve himself of the sin of killing Ravana. Ramanathaswamy Temple,
Dhanushkodi, Agnitheertham Gandamadana Parvatham etc. are other places
of interest at Rameshwaram. Stay overnight at Rameshwaram.
Day 03: Rameshwaram
After morning breakfast you will proceed to Kanyakumari. The Arabian
Sea, the Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal merge at Kanyakumari. It is
an important pilgrimage center for Hindus. Upon arrival at Kanyakumari,
check in at hotel and later on proceed to visit Vevakananda rock, Gandhi
Museum and Kumari Amman Temple. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Rameshwaram - Trivandurm
After breakfast you will be driven to Kovalam via Trivandurm.
Trivandurm is the capital city of Kerala. The Padmanabha swami temple,
Kuthiramalika palace and the Napier Museum are some of the heritage
attractions at Trivandrum. The stopover at Trivandrum follows drive to
Kovalam. Upon arrival at Kovalam, check in at a beach resort and relax
on the beach shores of Kovalam. Stay overnight at hotel in Kovalam.
Day 05: Kovalam
After breakfast rest of the day is free to relax on beach shores and to
take Ayurvedic massage/ therapy. Stay overnight at Kovalam beach resort.
Day 06: Kovalam - Trivandurm Onward
After Morning breakfast, check out from the beach resort and proceed to
Trivandurm Airport to board the flight for onward destination.
