Day 1 Varanasi
Sightseeing tour of the city.
Varanasi - Also known as Benaras or Kashi, this 3000-year old
living city of India, holds an uppermost position in all the Hindu
pilgrimage centres. Besides the holy Ghats of River Ganges, one must
visit the Vishwanath temple or Golden Temple dedicated to
Vishveswara-Shiva with 800 kg of gold plating on its towers provided by
Maharaja Ranjit Singh of Lahore, Benaras Hindu University, a great
centre of learning and the largest residential university in Asia, Tulsi
Manas Temple built in the modern marble shikhara-style, Durga temple
built in the 18th century by Bengali maharani and is stained red with
ochre, 17th century Ram Nagar Fort & Museum and Bharat Mata Temple.
Drive to Kushinagar enroute visiting Sarnath and having lunch.
Transfer to hotel for overnight stay at Kushinagar.
Day 2 Kushinagar
After breakfast, excursion trip to Kakandi.
Afternoon sight seeing tour of Kushinagar
Dinner and overnight stay at Kushinagar.
Day 3 Kushinagar
After breakfast, excursion trip to Pawanagar.
After lunch ar Kushinagar, drive to Balrampur.
Transfer to Balrampur for overnight stay.
Day 4 Shravasti
After breakfast, drive to Shravasti to explore the city.
Sravasti - Birthplace of third Tirthankar, Lord Sambhavanath,
Shravasti holds special religious significance in Jain mythology. It was
here that attained enlightenment after 14 years of hard penance. The
famous Saheth- Maheth forest nearby is said to be 600-700 years old and
is believed to be once known as Sahetuk Van. A popular Jain pilgrimage,
thousands of Jains come to this place to celebrate the birth day of Lord
Sambhavanath, an important Jain festival.
Later drive to Ayodhya and explore the city.
Drive to Allahabad, where you will stay for night.
Day 5 Allahabad
After breakfast, excursion trip to Kaushambi and Prabhash Giri for
exploring the places.
After lunch, sightseeing tour of the city.
Evening transfer to Varanasi for journey to onward destination.
