Day 1: Arrival at Chennai

Transfer to hotel for overnight stay at the hotel.
In the afternoon sightseeing tour of Chennai.

Chennai - Apart from the lazy stroll at Marina Beach, the second longest beach in the world, where you enjoy the playfulness of the seas and the sands and a look at the archaeological section and bronze gallery of the Museum, you also visit Lord Shiva's temple built in Dravidian architectural style known as Kapaleeshwar Temple.


Day 2: Chennai

Excursion to Kanchipuram Temples for full day.

Kanchipuram - Popularly known as the city of thousand temples, it is one of the seven most sacred Hindu pilgrimage centers. The highlights are the 108 Shaiva temples, 18 Vaishnava temples and Adi Shankararchya's Ashram. This small town is also famous for its thriving handloom and cotton industry and silk weavers known for their skills in producing best silk sarees in the entire country.

Transfer to hotel for overnight stay at the hotel.


Day 3: Mahabalipuram

In the morning, drive to Mahabalipuram.
Afternoon sightseeing tour of the city.

Mahabalipuram - An open stone art gallery, Mahabalipuram or Mamallapuram is world famous for its shore temples. The artwork here can be divided into following categories - stone sculptures strewn around in the open, structured and chariot-shaped temples and artificial caves cut out from rocks. However, the highlight of the city is the Shore Temple on the beach.

Transfer to hotel for overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Mahabalipuram

Day free to relax and take a lazy stroll on beach. You may opt for exciting beach activities or just lie in the sun and watch children making sand castles.

Day 5: Thanjavur

In the morning, drive to Thanjavur.
Afternoon sightseeing tour of the city.

Thanjavur - The ancient capital of the Chola rulers has massive Brihadeshwara Temple as its highlight built by Raja Raja. It is known for its distinctive artworks combining painting and raised effect. Mostly, it depicts Krishna's life scenes with the skin color of Krishna as white instead of blue-black that is used in other parts of the country.

Day 6: Swamimalai

In the morning, drive to Swamimalai.
Transfer to hotel on arrival for overnight stay at the hotel.
Day free to relax and explore the city at leisure.


Day 7 to Day 12: Swamimalai

A six-day Ayurvedic treatment.

Day 13: Trichy

In the morning, drive to Trichy.
Afternoon sightseeing tour of the city including Rock cut temple, Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, Sri Jambukeshwara Temple and St' John's church.
Overnight stay at the hotel.


Day 14: Chennai

Transfer to Chennai via flight.
Transfer to hotel for overnight stay at the hotel.


Day 15: Chennai

After breakfast, transfer to the Airport for flight to onward destination.


Extension Tour

Day 14: Madurai

Transfer to Madurai by road.
Transfer to hotel on arrival for overnight stay at the hotel.
In the afternoon, sightseeing tour of Madurai.

Madurai- The temple town of South India, Meenakshi temple has become an icon of the city. Once the capital of the Pandya rulers, it has been built in the shape of a lotus and it is said that it was named 'Madhurapuri' as Lord Shiva showered divine nectar here on the day it was to be named. Later, the name distorted to Madurai. The city is famous for its jasmine flowers.


Day 15: Rameshwaram

An excursion to the famous Hindu pilgrimage city, Rameshwaram, for the entire day.
Overnight stay at the hotel.


Day 16: Kovalam

In the morning, drive to Kovalam.
Rest of the day free to relax and explore the delightful small town at leisure.

Kovalam - Beaches of Kerala are at their best in Kovalam. Situated on the Malabar Coast, Kovalam Beach is full of swaying coconut trees and has gained fame with the sea surfers all over the world. Oil baths, ayurvedic massages, health centers that promote yoga and meditation and seafood like lobsters are the highlights of the place.

Day 17 to Day 24: Kovalam

Any 8-day Ayurvedic treatment, Kerala is so famous for.


Day 24: Chennai

Transfer to Chennai via flight.
Transfer to hotel on arrival for overnight stay at the hotel.


Day 25: Chennai

Transfer to Airport for flight to onward destination.
