Day 01: Departure from Delhi
You will be received on arrival in Delhi and taken to a hotel for a
check in. In due time, you will be taken to the Delhi Cantt. railway
station, from where the train leaves on Wednesday, at 4pm.
Day 02: Delhi - Jaipur
In the morning, the train will reach Jaipur. After breakfast, you will
be visiting the famous tourist spots of the city, such as Hawa Mahal,
Jantar Mantar, City Palace, Amber Fort, Nahargarh Fort, etc. You will
get back to the Palace on Wheels, in luxury buses, by 6:30 pm.
Thereafter, the train will leave for its next destination.
Day 03: Jaipur - Jaisalmer
In the morning, the train will reach Jaisalmer. After breakfast, you
will be visiting the popular tourist attractions, including Jaisalmer
Fort, Nathmalji-ki-haveli, Patwon-ki-haveli and Salim Singh-ki-haveli.
Dinner will be in Jaisalmer only. The train will be leave for Jodhpur at
night.
Day 04: Jaisalmer - Jodhpur
The train will reach Jodhpur in the morning. After breakfast, you will
be visiting the prominent tourist interests, like Mehrangarh Fort,
Jaswant Thada, Umaid Bhavan Palace, Rai ka Bag Palace, etc. In the
afternoon, you will be back to the Palace on Wheels.
Day 05: Jodhour - Sawai Madhopur - Chittorgarh
Early morning, the train will reach Sawai Madhopur. After breakfast,
you will be visiting Ranthambore National Park, famous for tigers,
leopards, wild bores, etc. Later, you will be visiting the famous
Chittorgarh Fort. In the evening, you will be back at the Palace on
Wheels, heading towards Udaipur.
Day 06: Chittorgarh - Udaipur
In the morning, train will reach Udaipur. You will be visiting various
places of tourist interests in the city, such as Lake Pichhola, Lake
Palace, City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Jag Mandir, etc. Later, you will be
transferred back to the Palace on Wheels, which will be heading towards
Bharatpur and Agra.
Day 07: Udaipur - Bharatpur - Agra
The train will reach Bharatpur, early in the morning. After having
breakfast, you will be visiting the famous Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary,
which is the home of around 400 bird species. Later you will be visiting
the famous tourist spots of Agra, such as Taj Mahal, Agra Fort,
Sikandra, Fatehpur Sikri, etc. The train will leave for Delhi, late at
night.
Day 08: Arrival at Delhi
The train will reach Delhi, in the morning. The ride on the Palace of
Wheels must have been one of your most fascinating rides. With great
memories of your visit, you will proceed to the airport, to board the
flight for your onward destination.
