Day 1 Cochin

Traditional warm welcome at Cochin.
Tender coconut on arrival.
Transfer to a heritage hotel for overnight stay.
Afternoon sightseeing tour of the city.

Cochin - The port city of Cochin is also known as 'Queen of the Arabian Sea'. There is Dutch Palace at Mattancherry and the very famous Fort Cochin, which is renowned for its Portuguese heritage and has early 16th century St. Francis' Church. Spice is at its best in area surrounding Jewish Synagogue while there are carved wooden panels and pulpit at Santa Cruz Basilica. Chinese fishing nets are popular among the tourists as a rare old-world trade form while Parishath Thampuram Museum houses 19th-century paintings, old coins, sculptures and temple models.


Day 2 Cochin

Day free to relax and explore the city.
Cruising on backwaters of Cochin in the evening.


Day 3 Munnar

Transfer to Munnar.
Optional stay at Cochin.


Day 4 Munnar

Morning drive to Thattekad bird sanctuary.
After lunch visit Kodanad, the elephant training center and enjoy elephant ride.
Drive back to Munnar for overnight stay.


Day 5 Munnar

Sightseeing tour of the city and trekking to tea plantations and nearby village of Mattupetty.
Overnight stay at Munnar.


Day 6 Thekkady

Drive to Thekkady to visit Aranyanivas or Lake Palace.
Evening free to relax and pass time in each other's company.


Day 7 Thekkady

Boat cruise to spot wildlife closely.
Rest of the day free to relax and indulge in jungle activities.
Overnight stay at Thekkady.


Day 8 Madurai

Drive to Madurai.
Sightseeing tour of the city including temples.

Madurai - The temple town of South India, Meenakshi temple has become an icon of the city. Once the capital of the Pandya rulers, it has been built in the shape of a lotus and it is said that it was named 'Madhurapuri' as Lord Shiva showered divine nectar here on the day it was to be named. Later, the name distorted to Madurai. The city is famous for its jasmine flowers.

Beach Kovalam, Kerala

Day 9 Kovalam

Visit to Padmanabhapuram Palace.
After lunch drive to Kovalam.
Transfer to hotel for overnight stay.


Day 10 Kovalam

Sightseeing tour of the city including the beaches and indulge in Sun/Sea bath.

Kovalam - Beaches of Kerala are at their best in Kovalam. Situated on the Malabar Coast, Kovalam Beach is full of swaying coconut trees and has gained fame with the sea surfers all over the world. Oil baths, ayurvedic massages, health centers that promote yoga and meditation and seafood like lobsters are the highlights of the place.

Overnight stay at Kovalam.


Day 11 Kovalam

Ride the traditional houseboats of Kerala for the day.


Day 12 Kovalam

Sightseeing tour of Kuttanad, the rice bowl of Kerala as you cruise on traditional houseboats.
Overnight stay at hotel.


Day 13 Cochin

Drive to Cochin.
Afternoon sightseeing tour of the city including the Museum and witness the cultural performance of Indian classical dance known as Kathakali.
Overnight stay at hotel.


Day 14 Cochin

Visit to Fort Cochin and Mattacherry Palace.
Evening visit to Cherai beach.
Optional religious tour of Cochin. Overnight stay at hotel.


Day 15 Cochin

Day free for shopping.


Day 16 Cochin

Departure to onward destination.
