Day 01: Departure from Delhi
You will be met by our represntatives on arrival in Delhi and taken to
a hotel for a check in. In due time, you will be taken to the Delhi
Cantt. Railway Station, from where the train leaves on Wednesday.
Day 02: Delhi - Chittaurgarh - Udaipur
The train will arrive at Chittaurgarh, early in the morning. After
having breakfast, you will be visiting the famous Chittaurgarh Fort.
Then, you will be transferred to Udaipur, in luxury coaches. There, you
will be visiting Lake Pichola, City Palace, Lake Palace, Jagdish Temple,
etc. In the evening, you will be back on the Royal Orient Train, heading
towards Junagarh.
Day 03: Udaipur - Junagarh - Veraval
The train will reach Junagarh in morning. After having breakfast, you
will be visiting Ashokan Rock Edicts and Junagarh fort. Then, you will
be leaving for Veraval, where you will see the famous Somnath Temple,
located on the shores of the Arabian Sea. The train will leave in the
evening, heading towards Sesangir and Dilwara.
Day 04: Veraval - Sesangir - Dilwara
Early morning, the train will reach Sesangir. After having breakfast,
you will be transferred to Sesangir Lion Sanctuary, famous for Asiatic
Lions. Then, you will visit the famous Dilwara temples. In the evening,
you will be back in the train, which will then leave for Palitana.
Day 05: Dilwara - Palitana - Sarkhej
In the morning, the train will reach Dilwara. After breakfast, you will
be trekking to Palitana Jain temples, located atop the Shatrunjaya
Hills. In the noon, you will be transferred to Sarikhej, from where you
will be transferred to Ahmedabad in luxury buses.
Day 06: Ahmedabad - Jaipur
After having breakfast, you will be visiting the famous places of
Ahmedabad, such as Gandhi Ashram, Calico Textile Museum and Sidi
Aayyad's Mosque. The train will leave for Jaipur in the noon.
Day 07: Jaipur - Delhi
The train will reach Jaipur, late in the morning. After having
breakfast, you will be visiting Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal, City Palace,
Jantar Mantar, etc. Thereaftre, you will come back to the train, which
will be leaving for Delhi in the night.
Day 08: Arrival at Delhi
Royal Orient journey must have given you an awesome experience of the
hospitality of the Indian railways. With wonderful memories of your
visit, you will disembark at Delhi and proceed to the airport, to catch
the flight for your onward destination.
