You
will hardly find any problem related to communication in Leh Ladakh. The
towns of Leh and Kargil especially, have worldwide direct dial telephone
facility. Apart from that, there are a number of PCOs (Public Call
Offices) in Leh to facilitate communication in the region. The General
Post Office as well as the Telegraph Office in the Leh town also helps
in communication.Also, most of the hotels in Ladakh provide e-mail facilities to their guests. Even the State Tourism Department has its own wireless radiophone network that links its offices at Leh, Kargil and Padum, with those at Srinagar, Jammu and Delhi.
