IIM Ahmedabad

IIMA is the premier management institute of India. It is the brain child of Dr Vikram Sarabhai. It was established in 1961, as an autonomous body, with the active participation of the Government of India, Government of Gujarat, and the Industry. Today, the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad has become a brand in the education world. It is known for providing world class professionals to major national and international organizations. Initially, the institute was collaborated with the Harvard Business School, which helped in propelling the institute towards high quality education. Finally, the outcome was an educational organization following the best of both Eastern and Western values.

MBA Level

The Campus
IIM Ahmedabad has a world class campus for the budding professionals. The lush green campus is spread over an extensive area of 67 acres and is being extended by a further 39 acres. The extended campus will accommodate a state-of-the-art international management and convention centre, along with classrooms, dormitories and ancillary facilities. The existing campus also has residential area for the students. There are 20 dormitories, each capable of accommodating 25-40 students.

They are located in the vicinity of the classrooms to facilitate easy access. The students are provided all the facilities, like pantry, washing machine, oven, stove etc. Apart from this, there is separate accommodation facility for the married students. The staff quarters are located just behind the student's dormitories. Students can also avail health and fitness facilities on the campus.
