Eating Out in Lumbini

As far as eating out is concerned, Sadly, Lumbini does not have much of an option. It will have to do a lot to catch up other Buddhist pilgrimage sites at on that front. Till then you have to make do with the ordinary restaurants that are there in Lumbini. Your best bet is Sri Lankan Pilgrimage house near the Ashoka Pillar campus. The place provides good food at reasonable price. The place remains full most of the time. In case the place does not open its doors, Lumbini Village lodge is only option left. The food is not that good but the ambience of this place is very peaceful. Apart from that you have various roadside joints near the bus-stand but venture there only if you have a stomach that can digest metals.
