Destinations Covered: Cochin - Munnar - Thekkady - Kumarakom

Day 1 Arrival at Cochin
Upon arrival our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. In the afternoon you will go for a half-day sightseeing by boat, visiting Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, St. Thomas Church, St. Mary's Cathedral, Chinese Fishing Nets and, Bolghatty Palace. Overnight will be at hotel.

Day 2: Cochin - Munnar
Have your breakfast and proceed to Munnar (3.5 hrs/130km) visiting Cheyyappara Water Falls on your way. Check in to your hotel by noon. Overnight stay will be at Munnar.

Day 3: Munnar
Munnar boasts of sprawling tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes and a trekking landscape. It was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Empire in south India. Enjoy your breakfast in the morning and set out to explore Munnar, visiting tea plantations, Anamudi, Eravikulam National Park, Devikulam, Mattupetty, Pullivasal, Pothamedu, Attukad etc. Overnight stay will be at Munnar.

Day 4 Munnar -Thekkady
After breakfast proceed to Thekkady (Periyar) and check in to your hotel by noon (3.5 hrs-110km). Thekkady is home to the Periyar wildlife sanctuary. Periyar has a lot to offer in terms of natural beauty and wildlife. Periyar is famous for its rare habitat of birds and animals and is one of the most popular destinations for nature lovers. Afternoon sightseeing includes spice plantations etc. Overnight stay will be at Thekkady.

Day 5: Thekkady
Breakfast follows boating at the Periyar lake Wildlife sanctuary. Afterwards we will take you to explore the nearby spice villages, Murikady, Pandikkuzhi etc. Overnight stay will be at Thekkady.

Day 6 Thekkady - Kumarakom
Have your breakfast and proceed to Kumarakom and upon reaching check-in to your Houseboat by noon. The best way to explore the backwaters of Kerala is by houseboats (Kettuvalams). It’s time for you to set sail for backwater cruise through paddy fields, coconut lagoons, narrow canals and coir villages to Alleppey. Over night stay at Houseboat.

Day 7 Houseboat - Cochin
After breakfast you will proceed to Cochin and check in to your resort by noon. You can spend rest of the day in shopping for local artifacts and souvenirs. In the evening, you may visit the marine drive. Overnight stay will be at Kochi/Cochin.

Day 8 Cochin
Have your breakfast and rest for a while before leaving for airport/railway station to catch the flight/train for your next destination.
